I love these. I do one pass on the 2nd heat level on my relaxed/curly hair and Boom! That's it! I do use a small tooth comb to go through the hair while flat ironing so there are frizzy ends.
The sound it makes when it turns on and gets to the preset temp is cheap sounding. Reminds me of an old school video game. You want it to sound, look, and feel expensive when you pay T3 prices. It doesn’t smooth my hair on the first pass like other brands thus takes me longer. My hair is fine, not coarse so I’m not sure why. It doesn’t allow you to change the heat setting, nor does it display the temp. Overall not blown away by this flat iron in the least which is unfortunate as I typically love T3 products. It does feel sturdy and it looks nice.
Love my single pass. Designed to be lightweight but tough enough to handle my thick hair. There’s a noticeable difference in how much less time it takes to straighten my hair. And so much less heat damage is the huge bonus!
