I bought both my daughters boots and Welly socks for Christmas. Based on reviews, I bought the medium socks for a size 8 and 9 boot. They fit their foot okay, however, they are not long enough to stay in place. When you roll them over to expose the word "Hunter" on the sock, it is okay until you start walking. Then, the sock slips down into the boot some. The "Hunter" on the boot is exposed a little and the "Hunter" on the sock only shows a little. We are returning them and trying the large. I'm giving this a 5 star as they appear to be good quality. However, they have not been able to rate them based on warmth.

Proscomfortable
I love these inserts. They fit nice and snug so that my feet are not squished or slidding around. Perfect!
