Ladies, if any of you are like me, obsessively searching high and low (in every sense of the word... online, offline, different cities, from inexpensive to premier designers and more) for comfortable flats, look no more. These are it!
These babies feel like slippers and yet have construction details and quality that prove it's a sturdy, structured and polished-look shoe. You can dress them up or down, from fit and flare skirts to boyfriend jeans. The suede is a rich black, very luxe look and feel. Treated them with waterproof spray and will be taking these to Europe with me as a perfect walking shoe.
Maybe I just have weird feet, but the irony for years for me is why are flat shoes that supposed to be comfy always some of the worst, most uncomfortable styles? (And I've tried Prada, Gucci, Tori Burch, Vera Wang, and many more - none of which feel good.) Don't hesitate to get these Stuarts! Yes, they're rather pricey, but oh so worth it...
I returned these shoes. I usually wear Stuart Weitzman shoes (in a narrow size) because I have a narrow foot with a narrow heel. But these shoes did not fit, they slipped off the back of my foot. So they were not slip free. Since they did fit through the front of my foot a different size would not have solved the problem. The arch was also not as supportive, or placed quite as well, as I expect from SW shoes. Generally this shoe did not seem to be of the quality usually found from SW. As always, Nordstrom service was excellent.
