Bought these booties a few weeks ago and have been really enjoying them! I am usually between a 9 and 9.5 depending on the shoe and I went with a 9.5 on this pair to allow room for tights or socks. These booties are so versatile. I have worn them with a fur collar gray blazer, white blouse, and dark rinse skinny jeans which was great. But, they look equally cool with a below the knee pleated skirt and bare legs, or a gray fit and flare dress with black tights. I find the heel to be high enough that they keep even longer pleated skirts looking more trendy than old fashioned yet are not so high that you cannot wear them for hours. They are a heel height that is going to be less comfortable than 2 inches, but as a 3" heel goes(after deducting the platform), these are quite comfortable. The 4 star rating is because I find that the front top digs a bit into the front of my ankle but does not cause pain just leaves a mark.
The boots are stylish and comfortable for the height. It's my first time wearing them and I've only had them on for 2 hours, but I can tell, I will be fine at the end of the day. For people with skinny legs/ankles like I have, they still look great even though they won't hug your ankle. I purchased the suede, so with black hosiery, the space is hardly noticeable.
