I work at a luxury fly-fishing/hunting/ski/golf/resort. This boot is rugged enough to tromp through sage brush and drive ATVs, but elegant enough to tour clients through luxury properties. I usually wear an 8 1/2 to 9, depending on brand. I ordered a size 9, thinking I could wear thicker socks while the weather is cooler. They were uncomfortably tight across the arch with very thin socks on, but they broke-in within two days. Now they feel like bedroom slippers! I ordered another pair in brown. They both look fantastic with skinny jeans. These are the best boots I've ever owned!

I have never spent this much money on a pair of boots before, but I figured it was time to invest in quality. They're so comfortable! I normally wear an 8/8.5 in flats and heels, and an 8.5/9 in sneakers and boots. I initially ordered these in 8.5 but they were too tight across the top of my feet and would not have accommodated thick socks, so I exchanged them for a 9, which fit perfectly. I can wear them with thin or thick socks, though with the thick socks they take a little breaking in. They feel like they will last me for years to come!

Loved this boot! Very comfortable.It provided warmth in snow. Water resistant. Looks good also! Traction, however, is not great on icy surfaces - I slipped several times on ice.
