loved them at 1st - but....

bought them in black around Thanksgiving as I needed a pull on pair to walk the dogs (sidewalk only) and already the paint is coming off the brown heel leaving it all speckly white. Have really enjoyed them for a month but for just walking round the block twice a day, they already look kinda shabby

I love these boots in every way, except for one thing. The area around the calf is way too open. It almost looks silly. But everything else is so attractive about them that I am going to keep them. Not for snowy weather, however. Not insulated inside. I wear an 8 and the boot is true to size with a little extra room for thick socks.
