Great non bulky winter boot

These boots are my favorites for cold and slightly snowy weather. Love the wooden and rubber soles, they help when I'm walking my dogs on the icy sidewalks. I don't have he problem other reviewers have had with them being hard to pull on. My feet slip in easily. They do run large, I went half a size down, but probably could have gone a whole size down and had a slightly better fit.

It's true, they are a bit challenging to get on. I'm always between size 7.5-8 and after buying either too big or too small all the time, I went with the 7.5. They are GREAT once I get them on. Comfortable enough to walk to the mailboxes after a snow storm but cute enough to wear out. Zipper would have been nice but after they're on, very comfy!

Cute but hard to get on

I wear and ordered a 7.5. The boot looks very sharp but I was unable to get my foot into the right boot. The ankle fit very narrow. The left boot I was able to try on but was also difficult. Definitely not a slip on and with two small kids and lots to always carry, I was looking for s simple slip-on. I will be returning for an 8 to see if it's easier to get on my feet.
These are perfect if you are looking for a stylish winter boot option. They aren't lined with any type of fur, so you would need thick socks to be warm, but they appear to be well made. I have a high instep and frequently have trouble getting boots on that have no zipper (pull-on boots), but I was able to put these on without a problem. Seem to run true to size.
