Cute, comfy boot, but not made for actual snowy winters!

I love this boot, but I knew exactly what it was for -- fall weather, or a cute indoor boot. I have a couple pairs of "heavy snow" rated Sorels that I wear when I need to be outside in the midwest winter for extended periods of time. I wanted something that I could wear at my work; we have a warehouse, and it gets chilly, but I didn't want to clunk around in my outdoor boots. This fit the bill perfectly. They are super comfortable and feel like a slipper. Plus, the two tone brown/collegiate blue combo gets lots of compliments. Got it in my typical dress shoe size, and it fits like a glove!

Too big...

I recently purchased these shoes in the Madder brown. I like them because they were different. They look brown & burgundy. These shoes run big. I usually wear an 8-8.5. I got an 8.5, they felt weird. Everytime I walked I thought the shoes were going to flop off my feet. The shoes even looked big. I put on thick socks and my feet either had too much room in the front or back. When I walked my feet would slide forward and there would be space in the back. I had no type of support. I felt like I was walking around in my fiance big shoes.

Great Boots

Once again I love my Sorel boots!! I have a pair of Sorel snow boots that have been around for 4 years that I still wear and love when there is heavy snow and sludge. I needed a pair of boots that were warm, fashionable, yet were not "true snow" boots that I could wear everyday when it's not a blizzard in Chicago. I have gotten several compliments on these, I have the black with yellow. They fit perfectly, are super comfy and warm. I absolutely LOVE them!!

These are functionally fine. I'm just not in love with the sheath/cover thing. They feel very....flash-in-the-pan trendy.
