These boots are AMAZING. So lightweight, comfy, and roomy enough for thicker socks. They fit my wider calves (have tried on three different kinds of Sorel boots that didn't fit my calves..including the Joan of Arctic, Glacy Explorer Tall, and the Sorel Glacy (black original ones)).
These boots are true to size, but they also have extra room for thicker socks. They are so lightweight that they feel like slippers on your feet and honestly feel like you are walking on pillows. I am going to NYC in a few weeks and cannot wait to wear these around the city.
LADIES - if you are scared to buy these because you tried on other Sorel boots in stores that didn't fit your calves, PLEASE don't be. These are amazing.

This boot is very comfortable and warm. With the right socks, I can wear them for hours. The red color is cheery on a sometimes dreary winter day.

As soon as these boots came out I wanted them. I have the regular Glacy Explorers and I absolutely love them, but I wanted a smaller pair for when it was too cold for tennis shoes but not bad enough to justify the bigger boots.
THESE ARE MORE ACCURATE TO REGULAR SHOE SIZE THAN THE BIG GLACYS! I ordered size 7 and they fit like a glove. Normally I wear 7 & 1/2. My big Glacys are also size 7, but they have lots of wiggle room for my toes. If you will be wearing thick socks get your regular size.
I haven't had a chance to wear them in crummy weather, but I wore them all day to work today and they were comfortable and warm even while being broken in.

This is a cute boot that makes feet appear tiny. However, they fit me overall too large. (9 M) I wondered if a thick hiking sock would work but the thin laces would not hold the boot to foot. They are constructed well, but I dislike the disappointment and return. Sorrel sizing and I are not a good match.
