Sizing is off

It's been my experience that when I order foot wear that offers European sizing, if I go with the 42 instead of the 10 in American I get a perfect fit. Not so in this case. The 42 is just over a half size larger. Since I ordered 4 different pairs of Sorels and they all are 3/4 over sized, I'm hoping that thick socks will take care of the rest of the room. However, the point of ordering these boots, to me, was to NOT have to wear huge socks. Sending back 4 pairs seems ridiculous and the shipping would eat up my savings. Not to mention that likely not all my selections could still be available.

These are so comfortable and lightweight it's like wearing running shoes. Now Im ready for 2016 winter.

I love the style, color, and comfort of these boots! And the fit as it pertains to the length of my foot is fine, but there is a lot of room on the sides and top of my foot; the boot does not "hug" the foot. They are very wide, and thick socks and tight laces are not enough to correct the problem. I do wear them, but more in a "slip-on" style sort of way.

I didn't measure. I wear a 9.5 and that is what they are in size. I can't give it a 5 star because I won't be wearing until next year. I try to purchase season end for sales. So these look like they will be wonderful for our Minnesota winters. Warm.
