Great winter boot. Stylish and cute. Rugged sole but not too heavy. Bought 1/2 size up per description so it fits fine in length, but there is a lot of wiggle room in the toe.
This boot is great for when it gets really cold. I agree with the recommendation of getting this boot in a half size bigger.

love that these are a little less bulky than other sorels. Definitely size up if in between sizes.

If you order in your size, it's likely your toes will be touching the front of the boot, which means you can walk in them, but won't have the full-full range of motion you would if you were striding on long walks. I bought in my normal size and wear with no socks...and can make due for short walks - or to take the dog out quick - so easy to slip on - I keep them laced up and just pop them on. But for most of you, you will likely want 1/2 size up EXCEPT if you have inserts/orthotics then consider 1 whole size up (from 8 to 9)... I read a review on Zappos about a lady who sized up 1 1/2 sizes due to her orthotics and wearing super thick socks and she was happy.
