These boots!!!

I usually wear a size nine which is what I ordered and they fit perfectly! You wouldn't be able to wear super thick socks with them, but they aren't too snug. I do have some difficulty figuring out how to style them, but I think that's just because I'm not a super fashionable person to begin with. The reason I only gave them four stars is because the seam on the right boot digs into my heel when I walk and I now have a scar from where the skin was rubbed raw and bled. This has happened to me with other shoes I've worn so this problem isn't limited to just these boots, but it was disappointing. They seem to be waterproof. So far I've only worn them when it's a little rainy and I'm too wary to try them in any other extreme water setting. I didn't treat them yet like some people suggested and I've noticed that that they do stain. Most of the time it will just wipe right off, but if if it's on the fuzzy part of the boot, it takes some time. I hope to do a lot of travelling in the near future and these boots will definitely be along for the ride. They're durable, comfortable, and can be dressed up or down as needed.

I bought these shoes before leaving to study abroad in Europe for a semester. They were by far the best purchase I made for the trip. They easily took me across 11 countries over the course of those four months, often with 12+ miles days of tourism. They even took me up several mountain hikes! I could wear them for almost any situation I encountered; stylish enough to wear to class and the pubs and sturdy and comfortable to wear on long-walking days and wet hikes through the Irish countryside. Now I'm back at college and still wearing them nearly every day to class in the cold weather. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for versatile shoes that can keep up with their active lifestyle.
I'm on my second pair after wearing the first for a few years until they were so dirty and beat up I had to stop wearing them. I wear them everyday for every occasion. They even got me through my pregnancy!

My boots arrived much darker than the photo. I would call them brown, not tan as expected. I agree, no break-in period needed but there is a reason for that. After several hours of use they start to feel like bedroom slippers and the leather at the ankle starts to collapse. Personally I would like a little more support but there is no denying they are very comfortable right out of the box.
