Bought these almost five years ago and they're definitely big but so sturdy and comfortable. I wear a 6.5 and bought a 36/6. I wear them with thick wool socks and there's still some room for an insole. I live in Chicago and they are my everyday boot from November through April. I've worn them on international trips and can walk for miles in them and they look good with skinny black pants, jeans, and dresses.
This is my first Dr martens and I love them! These are lite and so cute and comfortable. Easy to get on and get off. Love the way they look also

I am a true 5.5 and ordered the 5. I fit this size in other Dr. Martens shoes, so I was highly disappointed. My foot was swimming inside, it fit like at least a full size too big.
