This is my first Missoni scarf -- what a let-down. I knew the fabric wasn't natural, and although it's soft and drapes nicely, I didn't expect it to feel like plastic. I also agree with the others that it snags easily. That's not the worst part, though. The fringes actually unravel quite easily. When I received the scarf, several ends were already unravelling. I don't know anything about knitting, so I don't know if this is a common technique, but this scarf is knitted in such a way that there are no knots or anything to secure the ends. I'm afraid that if you accidentally pull a fringe, it could unravel all the way through the scarf and you can say goodbye to your $$$. I spent a good part of the day trying to fix the unravelled ends. I would return this but as I am overseas, I have no choice but to keep it.

I was so excited to get this to give as a Christmas gift, unfortunately when I started to take it out of the plastic wrapper it started snagging immediately just on my skin. Its a great color but even if it were less expensive it wouldn't last one wearing. I'm returning it.

Prosbeautiful, nice color, versatile
This scarf is beautiful and very versatile for CA living....however, I wear a lot of jewelry, & since this is an expensive scarf, I decided to return it - this material would be very easy to snag on your jewelry and I did not want to take that chance.

A great way to have a Missoni piece (especially w/ Anniversary sale price). Lovely scarf that is lightweight but substantial, drapes beautifully, feels fantastic against the skin, and has luminous, shimmering colors. A true statement piece. it does snag easily, so handle with care. I got the green and orange, which is beautiful and will be great for fall, though I somewhat regret that I didn't pick the blue/pink. too many pretty choices!
