I have a narrow heel, wider forefoot, high arch and instep. I have arthritis in my big toe which adds an extra bump, and I' m in the upper sizes where there are no half sizes. If I had a true size in this type of shoe it would be 10 1/2 narrow, which doesn't exist. I bought the GOwalk 2 in size 11 and fill up the extra space with an arch support insole and socks. The cushioning is superb. The soft fabric upper lays right on my instep without pinching, and I have plenty of wiggle room for my toes. I bought the chevron pattern just to have something a little jazzier for casual wear and summer. (I have a black size 10 GOwalk that I wear around the house without socks, and a black size11 GOwalk autumn loafer that I wear in chillier weather and have worn to work). This is the most comfortable casual wear shoe I've ever found. I wear them around the house, for visiting, shopping, and short walks. For longer walks, I still usually wear a trail running shoe. I feel like I need a thicker, sturdier layer under my foot, and the security and fit of a lace up shoe. Overall, I think this is an excellent product and I can't wait to see if it evolves into a version for every activity. For example, a smooth-surfaced, slip-resistant version for work.

I LOVE these shoes! These are great walking shoes, like for walking anywhere. The circular treaded outsole is pretty unique, and sort of propels you forward. I've been going on walks with regular running shoes and these are so much more practical, because they weigh less and the aforementioned rebound. I am normally a 9 1/2 to 10. I got a 10, but I should have ordered a 9 1/2 but the fit is good. The color design is much brighter than on the website...which I count as a positive.
