I have tried many ankle booties for my 5'3 frame. These actually elongate my legs and my skinny jeans tuck in very nicely. I have received compliments wearing these boots. If you're short like me, these boots will work! I bought these in Tobacco Size 6.5 (true to size - I wear 6.5 for shoes 99% of the time!). I love them so much I'm thinking of getting the black ones!!
I love the styling of these boots: the cut out top cuff, the placement and design of the buckle, and the suede, it's perfect for winter. It's hard for me to walk in heels, but these seem very comfortable although I haven't walk too far yet. The only thing I'm finding difficult is how your pants lay on top, since they do have an opening at the cuff. It's a cute look, but if your pants don't fit inside, they could sit awkwardly on top, or you see skin. This might be the dilemma of all booties, I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm keeping them and going with "the look".

I thought I would love these but they look a little like Pilgrim boots so I returned them. Aside from that, the suede is good quality & they seem to be well-made.
These little booties are awesome. Very comfortable and very easy to wear. I bought them in both the black and the taupe because they are so cute. Easily dresses up or down and always receive lots of compliments when I wear them.
