These boots are fantastic. They are comfortable, they are gorgeous, they are extremely well made and slim! I was hesitant due to the price but they are definitely worth it!! I can't wait to wear these all winter long!

I highly recommend you try on boots in person and buy from the Nordstrom store rather than ordering a pair online. This will be somewhat significant spending for most of the buyers, and even within Stuart Weitzman, there are similar looking boots that can be shipped by a mistake (leggy lady vs lowland). Also online order is very inconsistent - some ship with the boots bag and complete with inserts, others just the boots without any inserts or the bag.
I find these boots true to size - I am not sure why others say these run large. I wear a size 5.5 for heels and other dressy shoes and a size 6 for runnings shoes. 5.5 boots fit me well in the feet area.
My only complain is that the boots slip down on my legs even with the laces tied. I have to constantly pull them up after walking a few steps. This is the slimmest fit I can find, so I will live with this pair.
I love my new SW lowland boots, I also have the highland. They are sexy, fashion forward, comfortable, and luxurious. I am typically a size 6-6.5, Definitely size half a size down in these, I bought the 6 in black. They are suede so they will give a little and they run slightly big.I have narrow caves and ankles and they work well with my legs. If you have bigger caves or thighs, you will need to try them on in the store, b/c I am not sure they would work. I am 5'2" and I do have to adjust, pull these up after I have been sitting down, sometimes retie them tighter, etc it may be b/c I am shorter or it may just be the way the OTK boots are. Either way that is the only semi annoying thing about these boots, I have to do it with my Highlands too. All in all, if you can, spend the extra $$ and get the real deal. I get lots of compliments, they are comfortable and they do look really good on. Wear with dresses, skirts, skinny jeans, leggings. Very versatile and they keep your legs and feet nice and warm!
