So I have juicy calves and these did not fit. I only tried on one boot - didn't bother with the other and returned. I should have measured the circumference of the calf, but I think you need slim to average calves. I'm normally a 7.5 and the 8 was big so I think these are true to size.
Oh, SW, how I adore your shoes, and now your boots. I’m 5’4”, roughly 100 pounds and have very slender legs. These boots hug my legs. I’m loving them! They are fabulous, luxurious - not baggy and gaping open. Finally a boot that fits my legs - such a rare find! I can’t wait to wear with everything! And I can’t wait to get these in a few more colors!! I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly but the suede looked a bit worn off on one boot so I ordered another pair and they arrived in perfect condition!
These boots look endlessly classic and must be magic. I'm totally in love with them. I've been wanting these boots for years and finally took the plunge and they do not disappoint. They're so comfortable that I didn't even have to break them in. I was wine tasting all day the very first time I wore them and had zero discomfort. Other OTK boots look slouchy after wearing for a few hours and these never did. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
