My feet are on the wide side and my calves are pretty muscular from running so I was a little freaked that these would be too tight after reading all the reviews. However, these are perfect! Snug, but not too snug around my leg. Surprisingly lightweight and easy to walk in. Also, these are the pressed nubuck. The description doesn't make this clear. I was hoping that they were the pressed nubuck but for those ladies who want a shiny boot, check out the other leathers.

Prosquality beauty
Beautiful books! Absolutely stunning in both looks and quality. They are a style that will never go out of style, with the stacked heel and gorgeous leather up to the knee. This was a present to my daughter and she was beyond thrilled. I did ask her to please waterproof the boots before wearing as we do get snow and slush and freezing rain, etc. This boot is well worth the price. I have a pair of traditional cowboy boots, stacked heel and all, that are now almost 40 years old. I never babied them and I wore them frequently and they've never needed anything other than a polish. The leather sole is in great shape and I think it's indestructible. I hope my daughters boots hold up as well.
Most comfortable boots ever! Soft leather on the upper shaft, a little stiff around the ankle inside, but worked after wearing. Not real crazy about the two shades of leather on the shaft and shoe part, but received compliments everywhere I go. Well made and comfy, my two highest compliments on the boot
