I agree with the other reviews that these boots are not shiny black. They are a bit distressed looking. However, I still love them! I'm a size 8 with a normal calf size and they fit perfectly! I have enough room to wear them with skinnies, which was a must for me. I know that I'll be getting a lot of use out of these. Thanks Nordstrom!

I was not thrilled with these boots. The leather was too dull for my taste and the boot looked odd on my legs I thought they rsn true to size and I liked the heel height but I am returning them because I want something better for that kind of money

These boots are so comfortable. I have worn then 3 days in a row and think they are the best. The quality is superb as you would expect for any Frye boot. I can't wear the high healed boots all day. These are 2 inches and look great. The color is very authentic. I would buy another pair if they had it a Cognac color. You can't go wrong. These boots are undeniably awesome.

These were perfect! I have smaller calves but these fit wonderfully. My husband dislikes the boots that are wide at the top, so out of 4 pairs of boots I ordered, these won his vote...they were not on sale, however...But I'm keeping them knowing they will last me a lifetime. They are comfortable and easy to walk around in all day, even with the heel. As other reviews stated, these are not shiny...but they have a rich look. Thanks for your easy shipping/returning policies Nordstrom!
