I was hesitant to purchase these, as the grey seemed at odds with the Strand's formality. However, upon arrival it was clear that the grey was a unique hue, dark enough in complexion to almost be mistaken as black. Perhaps charcoal is the most accurate name for this color. It looks phenomenal. I am so pleased with the quality, fit, and look of this shoe. I special ordered mine with black Dainite, and they came within two weeks. I definitely recommend purchasing this before they are all gone.

This is a great addition to my AE collection. Perfect for dressing up a more casual look. The 65 last is ideal for my feet and this pair didn't disappoint. The grey is much nicer in person than in the photos online.
