It fit well, but the material felt a little thinner than I expected, I'm mainly disappointed by the style of the boots which was too wide near the calf. My husband thought they made me look like a "swashbuckler" which convinced me to return them right away ! I ended up buying another steve madden boot with a different style( lower heel/tighter fit) from another store.
These boots are not as comfortable as my other Steve Madden boots of a similar style. I should have gotten a half size larger than my normal size (8) and maybe they would fit a little better.
