The comfort and durability rate number one. This is one of four pair Of Allen Edmonds shoes I own. They are all impeccable. The best warranty and guarantee in the industry bar none.

Great shoe, 5 last just not perfect for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shoe looks great and is holding up very well, the 65 last is just a little odd for my foot is all. I wear 11.5E and the toe box is very snug but there is a tiny bit of slack around the top of the heel. The bottom of the heel is slightly small for my foot so I can "feel the width" of the shoe on my heel, but if I went any wider the top of the shoe would be just too loose. It's a fairly minor issue that, in all honesty, will not keep me from buying another shoe in the same last.

Classic and timeless style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my first pair of the McAllister over 20 years ago, and have had them re-crafted many times. This was my first real pair of dress shoes I purchased, and it was based on a recommendation from a friend. I've always received compliments on this style, and I am often asked for the brand and style of shoe. My son is now of age to need shoes of this nature, and asked me if he could get a pair like mine. He happens to wear my size so I had my original pair re-crafted, and I gave him my original pair of 20 plus year old McAllisters. He said he hopes to pass these on to his son some day! Great shoes that will last more than a life time! I'd recommend this shoe or any other Allen Edmond product like my friend did for me many years ago!
