Perfect all around wingtip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My walnut Mcallister wing tips have been my go to shoe for many occasions, important business meetings, dinners, trade shows and even after hour fun with jeans. They look fantastic with a suit, business casual or to dress up some jeans for the club. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box and only get better in beauty and comfort with age. An absolute winner and timeless classic. Everyone needs a spot for a pair of mcallisters in the closet, but if you are like me, they will be on your feet more than they are in the closet (and I have a lot of options to choose from!!).

Just great shoes.

My purchase of Allen Edmonds shoes started 60 years ago in Logan Ut. My father owned a shoe store and carried Allen Edmonds shoes. I have owned Allen Edmonds shoes since then. My two sons are following in the family tradition of owning Allen Edmond shoes. One owns his own business and likes the professional look the shoes give to him plus he wear an 11AA and Allen Edmonds have his size in lots of styles. The other is in the Secret Service and of course they have to look very professional but being on their feet for long hours the shoes need to feel good and be comfortable. He wears an 8 1/2 E and again can find his size in many styles. Now in my business, we're CPAs, my partners wear Allen Edmonds shoes for the same reason mentioned above, they look great and feel out of this world. Other than that I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy and own the finest mans shoe made.

Great nearly all-purpose shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these shoes with the combination tap sole, and they're perfect: I can wear them comfortably in any weather except heavy snow, and they look great with any pair of long trousers. They're actually more versatile than the Park Avenues, which are lovely but don't work quite as well with jeans or chinos. The McAllisters, though, hit every mark. The tap sole is tough and solid, so I can't even guess when I'll have to have them recrafted. Whenever that time comes, though, I'll happily do it. And – please note, gentlemen! – these shoes get more compliments from women than any other pair I've owned in my life.

Wedding shoes I expect will last me a lifetime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With size 15 feet, it's hard to find good shoes. Harder to find them affordably, and I've grown sick of going through that struggle every year or two because those 'affordable' shoes don't last.
Having been eyeing these for a while, I knew my wedding would make an ideal opportunity to finally take the plunge on a spendy (but QUALITY) pair of shoes. They broke-in quickly and nicely, fit like a glove, were incredibly comfortable for a day of standing and a night of dancing, and I expect they'll last me for decades.
Win-win for me, and should cut down on my shoe budget in the long run.
