Perfect formal dress shoe

I had been looking for the perfect wingtips for a very long time. What really sets this pair apart is how robustly they feel. The leather soles feel bullet proof. The quality of the upper resists the bumps and bruises of life much better than competitively priced or more expensive shoes. For the first time I am not afraid to wear a pair of really nice shoes. I highly recommend them!

These are excellent, well crafted shoes. Once you have worn them out, just send them back to be re-crafted. They are like new again. For me, it typically takes 1.5-2 years of heavy wear to need a re-craft.

When I bought these I wore them on carpet for the first few days trying to determine whether to return them or not. With great hesitation, I decided to keep them because of the look but certainly not because of the comfort. Eventually I ventured beyond the confines of carpet out into the world. I wore them to the office every other day. The first four wearings were a challenge. I couldn't determine whether I had made a a costly mistake or not. However, the more that I wore them the more comfortable they became. And now, I look forward to putting them on every other day. On the days when I don't wear them, I substitute with Ecco, Cole Hahn and the like. But now, I'm searching for another pair of Edmonds. It was a good decision.
