[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a pair of great looking casual brown shoes. I purchased these shoes on-line because 1. They are AE. 2. They are casual with a hard sole. 3. they are brown. I received them in 2 days and opened the package. The leather was so soft I can not describe soft feels great. However, I thought supportive on sides this soft. Just slide them on.... they feel like a glove, they fit like a glove so soft all around, and feel so supportive. The sole was cushion. Believe me, knees are so bad, really bad. So feel in the shoes is very important to me. Get a pair you will love them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consistently get compliments when wearing these shoes. I own more than half a dozen AEs and my only potential concern on these is that the uppers seem to show distress and might be aging more quickly than others due to the nature of the leather. It looks like cool, "honest" wear and they don't look shabby at all, but it's a difference from other AEs. They look great with jeans and chinos. The leather sole may be a bit thinner than other styles as well, so I don't know that they'll have the durability of some other AE shoes, but for the price I'm happy to get several pairs.
