Love these Nikes. Got them for my nephews (2 & 4 yo). Trouble is, Nike runs a bit small (I've usually gotten them Adidas, which run a tad big). Anyway, for my 4 yo, I got both the 10 and 11 to see how they would fit. The 10 was a little snug, but the 11 gives him just a bit of room to grow. Now the not so good part - the 11 only comes in laces! My 4 yo nephew hasn't yet learned to tie shoelaces - it is on the to learn list, but these guys just like to get their shoes on and go. Why on earth did Nike switch to regular laces for a size 11? I would think they would continue with the Velcro to a size 12. And 1/2 sizes would have been nice too! Velcro would have made this review a 5/5 stars cause the shoes are fab; the laces a burden - but we are going to give them a go and see how he does. On a side note, the 2 yo loves his size 8 Velcro Nikes - he's a zipping around sportin' his new shoes! And Nordstrom gets a 5/5 for the free shipping and free anytime returns, and fabulous staff!
Size up at least 1/2 size. Other than that, this shoe is well made for my rugged little one. The outer rim of the toe box holds up – even when he uses is foot as the brake rather than the gears on his bicycle or scooter. The mesh upper is an extra measure of comfort for all-day wear. Slim design makes is stylish and it blends with most outfits. This is his 3rd pair and we love!
My seven year old loves these shoes. They are awesome for school especially when he has P.E. I would order a half a size larger then they normally wear though.
