At 5'2" and 93 lbs, I have been having a hard time finding boots that would fit my calf , so I didn't have high hopes for the SW Highway boot, but surprisingly, they fit my calf perfectly and the over the knee look is actually better than the regular tall boot look on my petite frame. The only thing is that it's too lose around the ankle and I don't have problem putting them on but a hard time taking them off.
BEAUTIFUL! Really good boot & perfect for my match stick legs! I'm 5'2" & 105 lbs & have a really hard time something fitting against my calf...and these are perfect! Can't wait for fall to break these in! And the heel & small platform are perfect & comfortable to walk in! Saw these on the anniversary sale & the blogger frmheadtotoe reviewing them and HAD to get them. New staple in my closet!
These boots are a knockout whether in leather or suede. I bought both. They are nice and snug in the leg, definitely not for larger calves. They have a fabric back which stretches even though you can't see that in the photo. I ordered the wide, however I found it could have been wider and I will need to have them stretched a bit, not a true wide. Overall a sexy yet comfortable boot.
These boots are gorgeous - I got the black suede & can't wait to wear them this fall/winter! I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 (planning ahead for wearing thick tights or socks), & the fit is perfect, very comfortable boot and the sole has good grip as well (so important when it's icy out). What I like most about this boot is that it is quite fitted through the ankle and calf, which in my opinion looks much sexier. In spite of this, I had no trouble getting this boot on & off, I did not have to roll it down & up as the website suggests - it simply & easily pulls on & off. I am petite in build but do have decent muscle on my calves, and the boot has stretch to spare to accommodate a larger leg for sure. These boots are expensive but worth the price (I got them at the anniversary sale price!), they are really well made and beautiful. Just make sure to protect them from the elements.
