I bought this because I love shine and wanted a shimmery, flat shoe. It is gorgeous! The way the meta/materiall is woven, it changes colors, silver, gold, bronze. Another plus, because the color variation makes it go with everything, the perfect shoe. Also, since it's a flat, it's good for daytime outings. I did find it ran a bit large and exchanged the 7/12 for a 7, that was perfect. LOVE THESE!
I'll be honest, I've avoided pointy toe flats for years because I feel like they always look awkward on my feet. Years of wearing nothing but high heels must have warped my style sensibilities more than I realized, but these shoes finally overcame the mental anguish I've put myself through.
The metallic sparkle is fabulous--in most light it looks truly pewter, but in some light you get the hint of gold. The bow breaks up the point a bit to remind they are not, in fact, snorkel fins but normal shoes that fit my foot quite well without a lot of slipping off or uncomfortable heel rubbing.
Basically, this shoe got me over an unfounded phobia that I looked silly in a flat, pointy toe d'Orsay shoe. And I'm grateful for that because now that I say it out loud, it's such a silly phobia. They're lovely and sometimes a much more preferred option than the high heeled d'Orsay, which I've adored for years. It's proof that the right amount of sparkle and the perfectly placed bow can overcome any fashion obstacle.

Well-made shoe in metallic pewter will become my bridal shoe! Comfortable enough.
