These are the best walking/running shoes. Pricey, yes, but the fit is great and they are sturdy and light. I have owned many pairs. Always have two at a time. Just to be on the safe side. Twentyones, I have the blue and the grey.

Proscomfortable, good support, nice cushioning
The Gel-Kayano is a great running shoe and luckily Nordstrom offered it in a women's wide. The Asics' fit is always great for me and it lasts for a while. I usually have 2-3 pairs of running shoes in different brands and alternate between them throughout the year so they last longer. My last Gel-Kayano lasted about 2 years before I finally swapped it for a new one. Asics has just enough cushion and stability for my overpronating feet.

Nice version of the Kayano. Better than the 20, for my foot. Seems to run a little shorter than previous versions. Only negative for my foot is the "toe protector" piece over top of big toe as I prefer shoes without that little thing. A keeper.
