My patent leather SW 50/50 from 2007 finally retired. These are beautiful boots. I always wear a 7m in SW. But I returned for a 7 1/2. I think the patent leather makes the fit a little tight. Size up 1/2 size if you get the patent leather. You will love them! So comfortable and edgy

These boots are totally beautiful and unique looking. They add a polish to day or night clothing abc are really eye catching. The patent is a little crinkly and not stiff which some people might take issue with. Fits smaller/more true to size than other SW

If you have big calves still may not work. Does not stretch like you would imagine. I had a tough time putting them on. Took them back. The style is nice.
