I ordered this dress early for a Xmas cocktail party just in case I had to return it. When it arrived and I opened the box my mouth dropped! The color is so beautiful. The picture just doesn't do it justice! It has just a little bit of black lace in it that can't be seen in the picture but the red is just gorgeous! I was nervous it wouldn't fit but it fit perfectly. I am 5'3 and it sits perfectly above the knee. I usually wear a size 4 but read that it runs a bit small and I'm large in the bust so I ordered a size 6 and it fits perfect.
The Wow! Factor is here--the color "fire" red is a ruby red and is absolutely perfect for Autumn! The style of this dress is very 'forgiving' to lumps and bumps and hides belly bulge nicely. As for sizing, I usually wear a size 6 and the 6 fit perfectly- for me, it did NOT run small (I ordered a size up and had to return it). Looks equally nice with bare legs and pumps OR black textured hose and black pumps (colder weather). Overall, a fabulous design by Betsey Johnson! Must buy :)
