I used to wear another type of Asics but the newer version was not as good. This one is actually really comfortable for someone who pronates and needs support.
After searching for the best walking/ training shoe...these are almost perfect. Very well cushioned, great look and color choices but they run slightly narrow. I look for a wider toe box and these would get five stars if the toe box and overall width was a touch wider! I am keeping them in hopes of them stretching slightly....and hope it proves to be so.
The Gel-Nimbs 17 running shoe is my absolute favorite shoe for many reasons. It not only completely supports my feet but it also has the best cushion for protecting my feet each and every step of the way. This also the best fitting shoe that I have ever had. I highly recommend this running shoe.
I recently destroyed a pair of running shoes at a Spartan Race and needed a new pair. There are so many types of shoes on the market its hard to know which ones to get. I bought these because I was looking for a shoe that would protect my knees and cushion my stride when I was running. These shoes are great running shoes. They are not the cutest shoes, but I will take support over style anyway when it comes to running. Also, in running shoes I always order a half size up, and these shoes fit perfectly.
Remember, the uglier the running shoe, the better the running shoe! :)
