I have arched feet and struggle from shin spits. This sneaker was highly recommended for beginner runners. I like them a lot. It’s very cushiony and comfortable and true to it’s size. Never having good running sneakers, it was a bit heavy for the first few days but it only took a few tries to get use to the weight. But you need that weight and cushy feeling for support so it's worth it.

Toe box is roomy. If you have slim feet it may be too big for you. Arch support is average. Custom orthotics fit in the shoe

I have only owned one pair of Asics and that was in my upper 20's. Nike are my preferred brand for tennis shoes to walk and work out in. When I saw these and fell in love with the color, I had to get them. I am a shoe lover and when you walk as much as I do, you can never own enough tennis shoes! I love them. Ordered them from the site and tried them on and they are soooo soft and comfortable. Great support for working out and walking. I am now an Asics shoe fan! Better than my Nike Zooms!
