These are my first Teva’s and I’m not disappointed. Really happy I followed the recommendation to size down. I wear a 9.5 and went down to a 9 and they are perfect. The height is just right and doesn’t make me feel like I’ll roll an ankle. My only gripe right now is that the traction on the bottom is minimal and I slip on my wood floors. They definitely need to be broken in on some rough ground. Until then, I’ll have to walk gingerly on slick floors.
I loved these at first. Not as soft on my feet as I'd hoped, but nonetheless comfortable and sporty (looking) which I thought was perfect for long summer walks. The velcro is adjustable so I could tighten it in the morning and loosen it after a few hours if I needed. That makes it more true to width too - someone with narrower or wider feet could easily adjust things. The footbed itself was wide. No arch support, but enough cushion that I still felt supported.
Unfortunately the bottom came unglued after only 3 days of wearing the shoes. Disappointed with the quality, and that I now have to decide between returning for a refund (so they can go to a landfill) or attempting to fix them (and possibly failing).
I bought a couple different Tevas to take on a beach vacay. This platform pair (black strap with black and white platform) was my fav! I wore it every day to breakfast, the pool, the beach, the airport.
