Normally, when you order Toms you order a half size down. I did that and the shoes were super tight. I couldn't fit my foot into them. I recommend ordering your usual size. I had to return them.
These shoes are a great color and super comfy but I have a major complaint to them. The material is not canvas but more of a nylon material. You would think these are durable to moisture (if it happens to rain while you are wearing them) but unfortunately they are not. They get these awful creases in the fabric and look like the glue is disconnecting the fabric from the shoe. Like my title says, I would really love to love and keep these shoes but the quality is just not there yet. :(
I initially ordered a 9. It was too loose. Ordered a 8.5 and was worried it was a bit snug with socks but kept them and they have been perfect. I wear very thin footie type socks with them. I am 5'3, super skinny ankles and wear a 8.5-9 (9 in most) so I am particularly self conscious of how big my feet appear in many shoes. Most shoes of this style like Vans make me look like a clown. I saw these in he store and liked how they have a slimmer profile than most other shows this style. The fabric is easy to clean. Took them on vacation and they were very versatile with jeans, dresses and shorts. I own the black.
