Too long...

I don't order much clothing online because I like to try things on before buying. It is difficult to tell from the description just how long this top is or how it would look on me until it arrived. I found it disappointing. The proportions are just off... I normally wear a small in Eileen Fisher. I am just a tad below 5'6" and this top is too long. Anything smaller and the rest of the shirt would not fit correctly.

Flattering bateau neck top

Prosversatile, comfortable, stylish
I purchased this top because of the vibrant fig green color. It is a great length and fit, not too baggy. I have wide shoulders and the bateau neck cuts the width and minimizes the bust. I especially like that the material is not super thin or sheer. I look forward to wearing this top from fall through Christmas and maybe even spring on a cool day in Texas.

Eileen Fisher bateau neck top

Prosa must have!
This soft, jersey top by Eileen Fisher is a staple for every woman's wardrobe. Its unusual neckline shows off the collarbone, making it just a little fancier than just any ordinary black shirt.
Proscomfortable, well fitting, perfect neckline, fabulous length
I love this jersey knit top so much I have it in blue bonnet, black, and white and the knit is thick enough there is no need to wear anything under the white top other than a skin-colored bra--nothing shows through, not even my belly button! I'm 5'6" tall and have a normal length torso and this top fits me the same way it fits the model, although I'm a bit more endowed on top than the model appears to be. The neckline is cut perfectly as well; I have absolutely no concern about my bra straps showing, which is usually a problem with bateau necklines. This is a great staple in my wardrobe and I highly recommend it for everyone!
