The color and sparkle are lasting and intense but not glaring or overpowering. I hope I am expressing this well enough to get the point across. My only wish is that all of the colors would be available all the time.

Good but not as expected

What surprised me was the amount of creaminess in the texture. I expected to be able to use an eyeshadow brush to apply but when you dip into the shadow it is a thick cream consistency and I needed to use an eyeshadow pad to get an even look without it also leaving the brush and falling on my cheeks. With that said the sparkle is wonderful. I just wish it was a more powder consistency so I can go lighter on the application. With this product the pad transfers a heavier look than I wanted.

The Perfect Color

I was worried that the color I saw on my computer monitor might not match what it really looked like, but I was extremely pleased with what came in the mail. Just the perfect mix of brown and wine! I wear it from the lash line to the crease and extend a little past the outer edge. Even though it may look like a sparkly night-time shadow, I wear it during the day (because I LUV it so much!) and get many compliments on my eyes.
The skin of my eyelids are quite red and I usually wear a considerable amount of concealer to hide them before using shadow. The Hypnose Dazzling lays on color quickly and easily from the first stroke. This shadow in particular needs no concealer and it lasts all day. Thanks Lancome for another great product!

Great texture and spreads easily. Layering to the perfect shade is easy! I absolutely love the finished product , and no lines near the crease where any would've caked. Highly recommended. Best shadow yet!
