This is a lovely, heavy weight cooler weather dress. The fabric is thick enough to keep you warm, it lays beautifully, yet isn't bulky looking on the body. I'm 5'7, 135lbs with a true hour glass shape and it forms great across all of my curves. There is enough room in the bust and nips in at the waist, very flattering. I think it may run a bit small, I am usually a size 6-8 in women's clothing, but ordered a 10. I might have been able to get away with an 8. I'll probably just have a few minor alterations for an even better fit, but it's acceptable as is. It looks great with tall boots and a turtleneck underneath.
Pretty, girly, flattering, classic, versatile. Yesterday, I combined mine with a Tracy Reese embellished cardigan and the most beautiful Ted Baker pumps and felt as pretty and polished as can be. I have lots of other ideas for this dress, too. It's a perfect blank canvas to play with.
The arm holes are a little "gapey" on me showing things they shouldn't, but I'll bet alterations could fix that in a jiffy and I'd be able them to wear the dress by itself.
Nice material and beautiful color! It's a little snug on the waist. I'm a size 0 for Kate Spade, but for this dress I bought a size 2. Maybe a little long for petite sized women. Overall it's a gorgeous dress indeed.
This dress is stunning! It's extremely flattering, and the material is really nice. It's a little snug, though. You might want to go up a size--at least if you want it to fit the way it does the model in the picture.
