I purchased my pair of Asics Kayano 20 back in April. I was happy when I found out the Kayano 20s had a decent/modest/stylish color way as opposed to regular running fashion. Black/white/gold/red really go well together. I had a pair of Kayano 19s that were blue/yellow/red/black/white and they were a little loud, but still stylish.
I wear a 10.5 4E and they fit true to size. I had never considered getting "wide" shoes before and always worn size 11 shoes to try to compensate. Don't get me started on how that wasn't a good idea.
My pair of Kayano 19s are a non-wide size and my little toes eventually started poking through the mesh on the side. I've noticed that this is now happening to my Kayano 20s. It happens right between the gold web and the first white stripe on the outside.
I'm a little disappointed that this is happening again after switching to the wide size, but these shoes have been the most comfortable pair of shoes I've worn in quite some time. 6 months of everyday wear is what I've gotten out of them at school, work and at the gym.
They say spend extra money on the things that go in between your body and the ground. Would I buy another pair? I'd rather that I didn't have to, but the answer is more than likely "Yes." I probably will.
