I've gone through pairs of Nike Lunarlon, Nike Free and now these. They are all great shoes, but if you are looking for a shoe that provides comfort and stability for longer runs (10+ miles), these shoes should be high on your list.
This is the 3rd pair (Gel-Kayano) of these shoes I've bought. I have had numerous surgeries on my feet & these are the ONLY athletic shoes that my feet feel good in. I do not run, but I walk 2-3 miles every day & these shoes are comfortable, & very supportive. This price on these shoes is a really great buy. (I would pay more, but glad I don't have to). I found these in an Asics outlet store & they were more than $120, so I was elated when I found them at this price. I would recommend these shoes for anyone - my feet feel great in them.
Prosone of the best., durable, comfortable, attractive
I have bought ASICS running shoes before. I have been pleased with the durability and strength of these shoes. I have a pair that I have had for years and they haven't broken down. They're an attractive shoe, not flashy or bright.

Prosvery comfortable
I wear a large shoe size, 12 EEE, and these running shoes fit me perfectly. I buy these in 12 EEEE which helps with the extra thickness of athletic socks. While I get a similar fit with NB running shoes I find that ASICS have a more durable upper and sole. The ASICS also feel to me that they also provide more cushioning under my feet. I am 61 year old and do not run anymore but I do walk a lot. Every day I try to cover 6-10 miles. Sometimes much more including an occasional marathon. Good shoes are an essential for me. Forget athletic shoes labelled "walking" they do not provide the comfort and support that a top quality running shoe provides.
