Very easy to slip on for my 3 year old. I got this in a size 9 thinking it might be too snug but its good. She's an 8.5 now and I don't like going too big for her because I want her to enjoy walking/running without feeling like her foot going to get out of her boot/shoe. The color is as pictured and the bows are a bit silly in the back but subtle enough not to bother her.
