Prossexy and fly, poppin
very true to size, looking jazzy, and well made the Italian Leather very soft, and looking very expensive as they are, this is very important to me that they don't look cheap.

I've been looking for a gladiator style sandal like this for years! A sandal that gives some coverage to the foot and leg WITHOUT being chunky or unattractive. A sandal that didn't have too many narrow straps up the leg and no option for adjustment. A non-traditional gladiator is what I wanted.
Stuart Weitzman NAILED it!
I LOVE these because of the design, comfort, adjustability and overall progressive styling that they feature.
I have never owned a pair of Stuart Weitzman's and perceived the designer as being too conservative for my style and taste.
These are neither! The adjustable straps in the back are designed to accommodate a wide variety of leg sizes and shapes. I have an average size calf and there is ample room, in my opinion, for smaller and larger adjustment depending on your size and comfort needs.
The leather is creamy, yet substantial enough to maintain the form of the sandal while providing an extremely comfortable fit for your feet and legs.
I wear a 9M and ordered the same. They run true to size.
I am EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase and will keep my mind more open in the future to all designers!

Proscomfortable, good quality, adjustable strap, runs large
Runs 1/2 size big. I normally take a 7.5 - I have the Gladiator and Sparta sandals in the 7.5, but this runs large. I sized down to a 7.0 and it was perfect.
It doesn't state it, but the straps are Velcro so they are adjustable to your calf circumference and makes putting on/taking off a breeze!
They are very comfortable also!!
My only concern is that since the leather area is so large in front it may be kind of hot in mid-summer. It almost looks like a peep toe knee high boot with cutouts.
Other than that they are a nice alternative to the more "cagey" looking gladiators out there! I like the simplicity of the style and am finding them easier to match than Gladiaor or Sparta or some of the other ones out there (not by SW) that are busier/have more detailing.
