The SW purple box didn't come with a dust bag. Each of the ankle boot was in a plastic bag. No tissue paper. No extra bits. No SW note. Didn't feel like a SW pair of shoe.
Fit:
Ordered 7W. My left foot with bunion felt a bit snug and it felt narrow. The right shoe felt better but my little toe was not happy. Fit in length is true to size. My heels were in place and not moving while walking in these. The ankle area where the shaft ends had a bit of room. It didn't look bad but didn't look great either. The Aquatalias fit much better as far as around the ankle shaft is concerned. I only tried these on a carpeted area for about 5 minutes so I can't say much about comfort. It did feel comfortable. I'm not sure if walking these in the real world would be different.
Look:
From the front, the ankle boots look very nice. But from the side view, the wedge gave me a centaur look. Hello, hooves! Not a fan!
Suede:
I have to say that the suede is so much different from the Reserves. The suede in these ankle boots felt very thin. The Reserves had thicker suede and more supple. The sole has a stamp "Made in Spain" but the suede didn't feel like it's expensive. The pair felt very light.
Overall:
It didn't feel like a $250++ pair of shoes. Felt cheap. Returning.
As with all Stuart Weitzman, these are beautifully made and classically stylish . I usually wear a half size larger in his shoes and that was the case with these. I am very happy with my purchase so far. The big test, wearing them for a long period of time, has not happened yet but so far, so good. I wore them around the house for a while. I have a bunion on my right foot that can be very problematic.

The boots have gotten a lot of great comments at work. They are very comfortable as expected from SW. Nice heel too so I am able to wear them at work with cropped pants. Should probably try with a skirt too. I have not tried them on the snow or ice yet.I like the suede as I just clean it and spray black and it always looks great.
