Finally a lightweight long quilted coat...

I love this coat. I own both the mink grey and black hues in size Small. I ordered the XS and S in all three colors and decided to return the XS sizes and the deep burgundy hue. The XS fit my 5 foot 2 inch, 105 pound slim and petite frame perfectly; but I wanted a bit roomier fit for layering. I think the XS would have been too tight for comfort if I were to layer with a chunky knit sweater or with a blazer for work. The deep burgundy hue was a bit more brown than liked so I had returned it. I would have loved to keep this jacket in all three colors; but found the black and mink grey to be the most practical and classic hues for my wardrobe. I have worn this jacket in 35 degree weather with a lightweight merino wool cardigan and it kept me warm. I do not think this jacket will be warm enough for temps below 20 degrees.
Has a good fit overall. Perfect for the CA weather if you are like me and like you're jackets tighter and don't like to layer as much. For reference, I'm 5'4 and 120lbs and the XS fits perfectly. True to Burberry sizing. Of course I'll never complain about the quality of Burberry.
I saw this coat online 50% 0ff, but not the color I wanted. So that, I called our store to check it in color Black in some other Nordstrom store. Guess what! They found that for me. I was SO...O Happy!! I have similar coats by NorthFace and patagonia, but it did not come to close this Burberry coat with fit and quality !!! I'm ALWAYS impressed by Nordstrom's Great Customer service!!!!!
