I absolutely love this product! I have been waiting for some time and just had to get it when it was marked down from the sale! My skin has never felt cleaner or softer. It is so worth making the investment.
I had the Mia first and loved it. but this is definitely an upgrade! The print and colors are super cute, that's just a bonus. I love the fact that there are two speeds i can choose from and LOVE the timer feature. It pauses at each interval so you know when to change the location on your face. You need this! Especially at the sale price!
I'll admit, I have been so hesitant to buy one of these. I went back and forth about which model to buy for the longest time and even went to the manufacturer's website and Amazon to scour the reviews before I took the plunge. I haven't had the Mia 2 for long, but I can confidently say it is one of the best purchases I have made in a very long time. Here's why:
-The technology is well thought out. There is a light to let you know it's still charging/when it's fully charged & the handle will vibrate either once or twice to let you know if it is fully charged when you take it off the charger. The charger is magnetized so you just set it and forget it.
-I expected the bristles on this thing to rotate. Nope, it's truly "sonic" like a toothbrush. It pulsates/vibrates and really gives you a deep clean. So much so that it actually tickles my nose!
-I wasn't sure which model to get and teetered between the Mia 2 and the Smart Profile because I'd like to use it on my body as well as my face. However, I wasn't willing to commit to an extra $100+ for the Smart Profile. (As an aside, Nordstrom will let you return "gently used" beauty products so if you order one and decide you'd rather have the other, you can return it after you've used it once or twice!) I'm very, very happy with the Mia 2. It has two speeds and an awesome timer function that helps you know when to switch "zones" on your face. I can still use it on my body, just like you can with the Smart Profile, it's just not as high of a speed and I have to turn it back on after it has cycled through the 1-minute timer. No big deal.
-I don't wear any makeup on my face except on my eyes, so I wasn't sure this was going to be a very effective/necessary tool for me. I don't need to scrub off any makeup. However, I do have some sun damage and some dry skin issues due to my thyroid. After only a handful of uses, I can honestly say this has made a world of difference on my skin. Someone at work even mentioned that my skin looked nice and asked if I was wearing makeup! Nope!
-Many raters say they are perfectly happy using any cleanser with the Clarisonic, and I'm sure that is true, but it comes with a sample of their gel cleanser that I am quite happy with. It smells lovely and seems to deep clean. I will likely repurchase.
-I might upgrade one day to the Smart Profile, but for now I am pleased as punch with the Mia 2!
I have oily skin and this hands down has helped so much! Also, it takes off any and all makeup, even after you scrub using your hands. I use it once a day and can see and feel the difference. Very happy with the product. Only draw back is the size, perhaps they come out with a smaller model more ideal for travel.
