I've run in Kayano's since highschool when running track in the late 1980's and never been hurt yet. These new ones for some reason aren't as comfortable as the other ones which is quite surprising. I've exchanged two separate pairs and not had any problems replacing Kayano's with the next successive model (e.g. 20's before these).
These have left blisters on my heels which never happened. On the flip side I've never been hurt in all the miles I do each week over approaching 3 decades.
2nd pair of these I've bought. Due to foot problems I have they provide the cushoning I need. They wear very well. They seem a bit wider than other brands which is a plus for me. I'll stick with Asics
