Prostoo subtle
The shadows and lipsticks aren't nearly as concentrated as typical MAC products. The two neutrals and two deep brown tones are nearly identical, which doesn't create enough variety and depth. Wish it came with suggested application instructions.
I received this today & love it! Gorgeous colors in true neutrals, so they should flatter nearly all skin tones. I was a little nervous because of one reviewer who complained about limited color payoff, but this palate really works for me. I may order another one before they are sold out. Thanks, MAC!

This seemed like a great way to try several products in one handy package. Unfortunately the color payoff was really disappointing, and the lip colors are kinda useless...you have to put so much on and they still don't give good coverage! For this money, I expect more. Gorgeous packaging, so I guess that's where all the effort went. All I can think is, maybe they put products in these value sets that aren't as good quality as the full-size stuff. If that's the case, they just shouldn't make them at all!
